This collection is divided into three series: Eastern Europe Research Files, Women - Work and Athletics Research Files, and Courses Taught. Series I and Series II contain research notes, data and survey results, bibliographies, manuscripts, and correspondence. Series III primarily contains syllabi, with some notes, correspondence, and assignment prompts.

Series I: Eastern Europe Research Files, 1958-1979 contains material related to the economy of Eastern Europe, primarily Romania and the former Soviet Union. Materials include research notes, data and survey results, bibliographies, manuscripts, and correspondence. Also includes material related to Moskoff’s doctoral dissertation on the leather footwear industry of the Soviet Union. Arranged alphabetically.

Series II: Women - Work and Athletics Research Files, 1966-1980 contains material related to the economic, social, and legal status of women, primarily women’s experiences in the work force and athletics. Materials include research notes, data and survey results, bibliographies, manuscripts, and correspondence. Arranged alphabetically.

Series III: Courses Taught, 1972-1979 contains material related to courses taught by Moskoff. It primarily contains syllabi, with some notes, correspondence, and assignment prompts. Arranged chronologically according to course term.
