The President's Office Special Events file consists of correspondence and planning material for University special events including musicals, plays, concerts, dinners, receptions and community events. Included in the file are musicals such as "Oklahoma!", "The Music Man" and "Fiddler on the Roof", concerts such as Bach's Six Brandenburg Concertos and An Evening with Harry Balafonte; plays such as "Lost in Yonkers" and "Over a Glass of Wine" receptions held for the Art Association and Illinois Women Legislators; and community events and dinners for Art on Loan, Senator Duvalier, NAACP and the Springfield Garden Club.
