Scope and Contents
This collection contains the files related to grants and contracts that Wilbur F. Moulton kept as his tenure as the Executive Assistant to the President. It includes correspondence, memos, grant applications, balance sheets, budget and financial statements, and contracts with state and federal agencies. Some of these agencies include the Environmental Protections Agency (both Illinois and Federal), the Illinois Arts Council, the National Endowment of the Humanities, National Science Foundation, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The grants and contracts in this collection cover funding for research projects for the university, fellowships, internships, and even the development of the radio station WSSR.
