Scope and Contents

During the 1970s Sangamon State University employees including Mark Erenburg, Carl Flipper, Cleve (Corky) Hill, and Jim Grubbs, along with several community members, applied for, and were ultimately granted a license for FM frequency 98.7 MHz in Springfield, Illinois. The corporation was named Midwest Broadcasting and the station eventually became WNNS. This recording was created for the company as a demonstration of proposed programming and programming technique.
