Born in Chicago, went to EIU, worked there, approved highly by influential whites in administration, went to SSU; through contacts, became coordinator of youth activities at Springfield, Sangamon County Community Action Agency-"didn’t do a thing." Hired by Housing Authority security- says their attitudes towards tenants were hostile. Became "special program developer."
