PAC 423, Intersession; American Identity; Tensions in the Myth (January 5-9, 1976) consists of papers, records, pamphlets and audiocassettes. This Intersession examined various topics dealing with American character; topics covered are American's role in the world, tension between nature and technology, need for excellence and equality, effects of popular and elite culture, and the value of ethnicity.
