This record series consists of the working papers of the Development Planning Committee (DPC). The DPC was charged with the task of reviewing "academic planning for SSU in the changed context of its position as UIS." committee was created in 1995 and presented its final report in 1997. These materials were collected by Wayne Penn, committee member. The working papers consist of meeting agendas and minutes, handouts, articles, program reviews and handwritten meeting notes from Wayne Penn. The papers also contain the interim report of the DPC in May 1996 and the new program requests for the Abraham Lincoln Honors College and the Doctor of Public Affairs program.
