Scope and Contents

This album contains photographs of the Booth and Grunendike families, events and locations in Springfield, Illinois, and family trips in the midwest. Locations include Kansas City, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri; Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Holland, Michigan; Macatawa, Michigan; Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and locations in Illinois including Chicago, Quincy, Pekin, Peoria, Danville, and Decatur. Notable are photographs of Camp Tanner, where soldiers mustered prior to deployment in the Spanish-American War, and an event welcoming soldiers home later that year.
