This collection contains a variety of publications relating to waste and recycling management.  Publications primarily concern policy, technology, program implementation and management.  The publications consists of newsletters, articles, guides, studies, journals, and books. Neil Seldman, founder of the Institute for Local Self Reliance, was responsible for coordinating this collection of materials related to recycling for donation to the UIS Archives.
