SANGAMON ORDNANCE PLANT PROJECT
Herb Lee, Illiopolis resident, recalls the Sangamon Ordnance Plant during WWII: employment on the ordnance survey gang, local reaction, wages, phasing out the plant, and his employment at DeKalb Poultry after it purchased the plant. Also recalls security, rail-roads, and housing sites for the plant.
